Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data is involved when you visit shadow-kit.com and how it is used.

This site is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, with guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, and configuring it. This policy applies to this website. It does not replace the privacy information provided within Shadowrocket or Apple’s policies for its store and payment services.

1. Website services and data collection

This is a static content website. It has no user registration, sign-in or email collection forms. You can read the manual without submitting your name, phone number, payment details or Apple Account credentials. This site does not provide, sell or recommend proxy nodes or subscriptions. Related tutorials assume that you already have your own subscription or server details.

When you request a webpage, the server receives technical information such as your IP address, requested path, access time, browser identifier and response status. This information is used to deliver pages, diagnose issues and maintain site security. Reading the site does not give us access to Shadowrocket configurations, connection logs, passwords or subscription details stored on your device. Do not include credentials in website URLs.

2. Analytics and how data is used

We use website analytics to understand page readership, traffic sources, device and browser categories, and usage of key entry points. On the download information page, a click event is recorded when you choose an App Store button. This helps us assess whether the official store link is easy to find. The event does not include store orders or payment results.

Analytics help us improve the manual’s structure, find broken links and make the site easier to read on mobile devices. They are not used to read proxy traffic in the app. Website visit data and app activity data are separate. We do not use analytics to ask for server passwords, subscription credentials or proof of purchase, and providing such information is not required to read the manual.

3. Cookies and local storage

Your browser may store cached page files. Analytics may also use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits and reduce duplicate counts. Cookies and local storage are browser-side storage mechanisms; they do not provide access to data in other apps on your device.

You can review, restrict or clear these records in your browser’s website data settings, or use its privacy features. After clearing the cache, page resources may need to load again. Restricting analytics-related storage may reduce measurement accuracy, but you do not need to accept analytics identifiers to read the content. We do not ask you to store subscription links, server passwords or payment details in your browser.

4. App Store and app data boundaries

The only place to get Shadowrocket is the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Account sign-in, purchases, payments and refunds after you follow the link are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies. This site does not receive the account passwords or payment card details you enter in the store.

A one-time purchase of the app is not a service plan. Buying the app and using your existing network services are managed separately. For information about app configuration and how a service provider handles connection data, consult the app’s in-app information and the privacy policy for the service you use. This website’s policy does not replace either one. Check the App Store page for device compatibility, system requirements and purchase availability.

5. Policy updates and questions

If website features or data practices change, we will update the relevant terms on this page and revise the last-updated month at the top. Changes to the scope or purposes of data collection will be explained in the updated text. Refer to the current version published here.

For help with purchases and configuration, see the user guide. For connection or subscription import issues, consult the troubleshooting guide. Before sharing details about an issue, remove passwords, full subscription URLs, account information and anything that could identify you. See the Terms of Use for more about how this website is used.
