1. Scope and purpose of this site
This is the official website and manual for the Shadowrocket Proxy Client. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, importing existing configurations, and troubleshooting. These terms apply to access to and use of this site's pages, documentation, and examples. They do not replace the app's own license terms or the App Store's terms of sale.
Please read these terms before using the content. If you do not agree, stop using the relevant content. The manual explains app operations and technical concepts; it does not promise service for any particular network environment, and examples may not work with every device or configuration.
2. Lawful use and user responsibilities
Users must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where they live and where they use the app, as well as the rules of the networks, organizations, and service providers they access. Do not use Shadowrocket or this site's content for unlawful purposes, including violating another person's privacy, obtaining data unlawfully, accessing systems without permission, or disrupting network operations.
Only import content based on your own existing subscription or server details. Verify that you are authorized to use those details, safeguard your accounts, subscription links, and other sensitive configuration data, and do not publicly share complete configurations containing credentials. Obtain permission before using another person's device or a managed device.
3. Purchases and service boundaries
Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source commercial app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. App Store is the only place to get it. Check the App Store listing for the price, system requirements, device compatibility, and applicable universal purchase details. Purchases, payments, and refunds are handled under the store's applicable policies.
A one-time purchase of the app is not a service subscription. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend any nodes or subscription services, or manage users' existing servers or service accounts. Purchasing the app does not provide connection resources. Check with your service provider about the validity period, authorization, and availability of any existing service.
4. Content applicability and liability
The app is sold on the App Store; this manual does not replace the store listing or prompts shown in the app. The interface, features, and steps may change. If the documentation differs from the app, check the current interface first. Domains, addresses, and rules in examples illustrate syntax only and should not be treated as ready-to-use connection configurations.
To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for the site's or app's continuous availability, connection results, network interruptions, or data loss, nor for the performance of users' existing services. Back up your data before changing configurations, clearing data, or moving to another device, and consider how rule changes may affect your connections.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited, or reduces consumers' statutory rights.
5. Intellectual property and use of content
The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related app icon belong to its developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited. The names, icon, and interface terminology shown on this site identify the product and explain its operation. Accessing or reading this site does not transfer or grant a license to any trademark, app, or related intellectual property.
This site's documentation and editorial content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users may consult and quote necessary excerpts for personal study and use as permitted by law, provided they retain source and rights information. Any copying, adaptation, or commercial distribution beyond what the law permits requires prior permission from the relevant rights holder.
6. Changes to these terms and further guidance
This site may revise these terms to reflect legal requirements, content updates, or changes to service boundaries. Revised terms and the month of update will be posted on this page. Changes take effect on the date stated on the page; if no date is specified, they take effect when posted, except where the law requires otherwise. Review this page again when needed.
For information about personal data, read the Privacy Policy. If you have questions about how to use the app or notice differences between the documentation and the current interface, first check the User Guide, then consult the Troubleshooting Guide to verify the steps and conditions that led to the issue. Do not share passwords, subscription links, or other sensitive information publicly while troubleshooting.
